Dr. Tavernakis has been my dentist for the past 7 years during times of brokeness and times of wealth; definitely willing to accomodate your budget and is a very nice guy. No stress, good sense of humor and loves to talk about his Greek friends and heritage. Makes you feel extremely comfortable.

I am a new patient of Dr. Tavernakis and I was very pleased with my general cleaning. He was extremely friendly and actually performed the cleaning himself instead of a hygienist in order to develop a more personal relationship than most dentists. His advice and explanations for treatments he recommended for me greatly helped me understand why I needed to see a specialist and what exactly was happening. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the Long Beach area looking for a general dentist who goes the extra mile and really tries to connect with and inform his patients.

He is simply the best. The patient's needs are always first. His work is excellent and his charges are reasonable. He takes care of those without insurance at an affordable cost. He is available for emergencies. His honesty, integrity, and excellent dental work should be the envy of all.

I have only seen this dentist for a cleaning and check up. However, I have extensive TMJ work in my mouth. It was apparent that Dr. Tavernakis was knowledgable about the work that had been done. He limited x-rays at my request and pointed out some problems I should watch for given my history. He did not push for extra work as some dentists have. He was knowledgable about insurance coverage. I was impressed with his thoroughness. I am prone to trust his honesty and judgement based on his answers to my questions.

My Name is James Clement and I love this dentist. I would never, under any condition recommend anyone else. This guy is the best. His staff is very friendly. I had my whole front teeth done by this doctor. And I have no regrets. The cost is fair, the work is the best. That's why it's common knowledge to everybody that he is the best dentist in the area.

This Dr. has saved numerous teeth of mine, and did some brige work in my husbands mouth. He does great work at a fair price! If you call on a Saturday, Sunday or evening hours you don't get a machine or answering service, Dr. Tavernakis actually answers the phone!!! This guy is the best ever!!!!!!
