Dr. Richard Sasaki and his son Jeffrey Sasaki are the kindest and most honest dentists I've ever met. My husband has been going to Sasaki Sr. since he was a child--50 years!

My sister recommended Dr. Sasaki to me and had been seeing him for over 10 years at that point. Dr. Sasaki is the best dentist I've ever experienced! His chairside manner is superb, he is a gentle and very competent doctor, as well as a charming and affable person. Kathy, his receptionist is wonderful and friendly and very capable. She makes sure Dr. Sasaki's office runs like clockwork. I particularly appreciate her after experiencing the passive/aggressive types in some doctors' offices.
About Hygienist: Leslie, also, fabulous. Doesn't get hung up on the "How often do you floss?" guilt trip that I've experienced in the past.

Knowledgeable, careful, great personality. Have gone to Dr. Sasaki for 31 years - back in 77 I had to have my widsom teeth removed and in those days he still did that. He removed 2 teeth and I literally went back to classes at Stanford that day. Had no problems/no pain. Now my husband and 17-year old son also go to Dr. Sasaki. It's a bit of a drive since we go from San Jose to his office (about 20 miles), but we are not willing to change dentists. Cathy runs the office/front desk, and she's fantastic. Have had no problems with billing or any paperwork. When my son was small he had a tooth that just wouldn't fall out, and we were worried that he would swallow it or it would get foot trapped around it. Dr. Sasaki was able to distract him enough to actually administer the numbing agent to the area and then pull the tooth, without my son realizing what was happening! Dr. Sasaki is #1 in my books.
About Hygienist: Leslie is outstanding. Like Dr. Sasaki, she is knowledgeable, caring, and has a great personality. She cleans teeth so well, and yet you don't come out of the office feeling like your mouth has been attacked. She has been working on my son's teeth from his first visi (at least 13-14 years), and I've known her since before then, so we're talking about a good amount of time!

All stages of my interaction with Dr. Sasaki have been very pleasant. They're always helpful and patient. After going to another dentist who was closer, I realized how excellent Dr. Sasaki and his staff are!

I've gone to Dr. Sasaki since 1980 and he is the best. Now his son is in practice with him and the same excellent service continues. Dental work is never fun but the Sasaki family makes it as stress free as possible.

Have gone to Dr. Sasaki since 1977, and now my husband and our 14-year old go to him. In the early days when he still did minor surgery, he removed my wisdom teeth easily/painlessly. Skilled and caring/careful dentist. When my son was about 7 and had a stubborn tooth that wouldn't fall out and needed to come out (because it was affecting his permanent teeth), Dr. Sasaki was able to numb the area, give him a shot ,and remove the tooth without my son even feeling it! My son had no idea that he'd been given a shot! Wonderful front desk person (Kathy). And Leslie is THE best at cleaning/polishing. My husband tried going to a different place closer to our home (San Jose), but wasn't satisfied -- we prefer to drive to Los Altos for Dr. Sasaki and his staff.

Dr. Sasaki is extremely good. Ive been to many dentist and he is by far the best!
