(Also the only reason I am not rating this dentist and his facility 4 stars in every category is because this dumb website won't let me. It says I can't rate the facility 4 stars and the cost 4 star? Weird. I would give 4 stars all across the board if I could!)

Dr. Kaplan has taken care of me for many years. No one really loves going to the dentist, but I actually look forward to seeing him. He is kind, professional, personable, and I have great confidence in his work. Highly recommend.

I'm a big wuss when it comes to the dentist so I hit pay dirt when I walked into Dr. Kaplan's office. The staff (Anaheet)Was so gentle and though they must've heard this a million times "I'm terrified of the dentist!" they treated me with respect and gave me reassurance that I would be okay. I was more than okay. My decayed tooth was removed quickly and painlessly (after a numbing shot) and a temp tooth was quickly fitted. It fit so well, I wondered if I needed the crown! When the crown was ready soon there after, I returned and after a quick adjustment - voila!
About Front Desk: Vilma, Julisa, all the ladies are super-nice and helpful. They always try to give me the time of day that works best for my crazy schedule.
About Hygienist: I've tried several of the hygienists, Margie and Sun, and they are all super-competent and left me with a sparkling smile.

Poor experience. When I went to him, Dr. Gregory, barely spent any time with me and commented that my insurance was crappy and he "doesnt even know why the continue to accept it." Why would you say that to a patient? I have a plan with blue shield, what's wrong with that? On subsequent visits, I found their office overcharges me and screwed up my appointment time. Stay away from this one, they just dont care about their patients. I am switching.

I came in to the office with semi crooked and yellowish teeth, now only a year later my teeth are white as pearls and my teeth straight as a ruler! Great success! Wonderful innovations! And Friendly doctors!

I am one of the most nervous dental patients out there. I worked myself up into a panic attack over having 3 silver fillings replaced but was pleasantly surprised by how quickly and smoothly everything went. My stomach turned when I saw the needle for the numbing shots but Dr. Kaplan was so skilled that I barely felt them. Noticing my tension and nervousness, Dr. Kaplan worked quickly and adeptly. All 3 silver fillings were replaced with white ones in a very short time. The offices at Wilshire Center Dental Group are state of the art and it seems Dr. Kaplan is constantly striving for improvement. I am impressed with their technology (an intraoral camera was placed in my mouth to show me exactly what I had going on in there, they use digital x-rays and I was told they are in the process of converting all charts to a paperless system.) The office is spotlessly clean and this is the only dental office I am comfortable going to! I recommend Dr. Gregory Kaplan and Wilshire Center Dental Group highly.

This was one of my the worst dental experiences ever.
The place is out of a Franz Kafka novel. A huge concrete building crowded with patients and doctors. Loud tv screens blarring telling you how bad your teeth could be and all the work you need to get done in order for terrible things not to happen to them. You never get to meet "The" Dr Kaplan just the many dentists that work under him. Every time I went I got a different dentist in a tiny depressing cubicle and you could hear and see the work of the other patients in the cublicles next to them. The work done to my teeth was okay it was more the intimidating "butcher" like atmosphere of the place
that will haunt me for days to come. I was too scarred to change dentists because of my insurance but I took the leap
of faith and found a new Dentist. His name is Dr Vafgar at "Smile Angels in Beverly Hills". I always felt intimidated about going to Beverly Hills and thought it would be too expensive and snooty but it is cheaper than "Wilshire Dental
Group". There is only one dentist Dr Vafgar himself. He looks
at you when he talks to you and asks how you are. I thought I was in another world after my experience at Wilshire dental group.

Dr Kaplan did bonding on my front top tooth that had chipped and the result was beautiful. Great cosmetic dentistry and very fast. The only negative is that the bonding didn't last for more than 2 months and I had to go back to have it redone.
