I went to dental school at USC so I know what to expect when going to a dentist. Unfortunately, over the years, I've gone to many different dentists, and all have told me that I needed procedures that were not needed - they were merely attempting to make more money. DR. KING HAS BEEN THE ONLY DENTIST THAT HAS BEEN COMPLETELY HONEST. I trust him so much that I have sent all of my freinds and family members to him!!!!!! He also is very friendly and has great chairside manners.

When I went to him as a new patient, Dr. King started off by telling me that I should consider having my teeth whitened. Then he told me that I had half a dozen cavities. Since I've had only one filling in my entire life, I questioned this assessment. I went to another dentist for a second opinion, and sure enough, he detected no cavities at all. Now this may simply be a difference of opinion, but my sense was that Dr. King was eager to sell me whatever products he could.

What I like about Dr. King's office is that they are up front about what needs to be done for you. I had Dr. Gilbert King do my initial cleaning and he took time and care in showing me and explaining to me what needed to be done. And feel free to ask about the costs, he'll tell you right there! I found the office to be pleasant and helpful although on Saturdays, the receptionist might be a bit overwhelmed. His wife, also Dr. King was great in terms of chair side manner and deep cleaning. It's a family practice so you get everyone from little kids to full grown adults. Overall, good service, detail work and helpful and friendly office.
