He always provides great care for his patients.
The service is on time and stress free.
He is also very good at aesthetic treatment like whitening.
The only negative side is that his treatment is expensive even with insurance.

I recommend this dentist. I have had multiple treatments for cavities and pulled out 2 wisdom teeth. The customer service is great. The front desk is very helpful in explaining what is covered under my insurance. They would also call to remind me of routine check ups when they are due. Dr. Matsumura does a very precise job. He would also explain very nicely and carefully what he is about to do, what I should do to keep my teeth clean, and sometimes lets me look into my teeth in the mirror to point out where my cavities are. The only complaint I have is that when I pulled out my wisdom tooth, I got local anasthesia. However, it spread too much, and I could not feel half of my face for half a day after getting it.

My wife and I found Dr. Matsumura while we were living temporarily in LA. We have since returned to San Francisco, but after bad luck with denists here, we're seriously thinking of flying back to LA for treatment. Dr. Matsumura is excellent - pleasant, lets patients know what's coming, and the hygienists and office staff are also very kind. One in a million!
