A great communicator in addition to a great dentist. He is careful, clear, calm, easy to be around. He runs on time. Responsive to questions or worries or concerns, and I am a very nervous patient. The office is easy to be in, does not have horrible canned music.
About Hygienist: Just want to mention that Karen, the dental hygenist, is so careful, so pain free, and that is also part of what makes this practice amazing.

I dreaded visits to the dentist growing up. When a friend raved about her dentist 20 years ago, I went reluctantly, not really believing he could be as good as my friend had claimed. He was and he is! He is thorough, takes his time, and makes the elimination of pain a top priority. He treats my whole family- my husband and three kids. He has done fillings, crowns, bonding, bridges, as well as referred us to great endodontist, oral surgeon and orthodontist for root canals, tooth extractions and braces, respectively. He is soft-spoken and has a great chair-side manner. He once redid a crown that he had done a year before--at NO charge-- because he thought it could look better (and I am a very picky person, who thought it looked good!) I have referred many friends, who also adore him. His staff is fantastic; friendly and helpful--Karen has run the office there for the entire time I've been with Dr. Mendelovitz. I know that there are less expensive dentists out there, but I would never leave an office where the dentistry is top-rate to save a few bucks. And, they bill my insurance and I receive a bill after they've been paid by my insurance company!
About Hygienist: The hygienist, a different Karen, is also tops! She is gentle, sweet-natured and takes her time as well--you must allow an hour for a cleaning. My teeth feel as smooth as glass for about a week after I've been to see her!

I WAS ORIGINALLY REFERRED TO DR MENDELOVITZ 15 YEARS AGO BY MY DOCTOR - SO ONE MIGHT THINK OF HIM AS THE DENTIST THAT DOCTORS TRUST WITH THEIR TEETH.... HE IS VERY GENTLE, HAS AWESOME CHAIRSIDE MANNER AND HIS OFFICE STAFF IS REALLY GREAT.
About Hygienist: HIS HYGEINISTS ARE ALWAYS THOROUGH AND GENTLE AND I LOVE HOW CLEAN MY TEETH FEEL WHEN I LEAVE

Dr. Mendelovitz is a cheerful, empathetic doctor. When using needles for cavities he is very gentle and it never hurts. He knows how to care for teeth to keep them pearly white & he knows the best orthodontist in town to get them straight. If you want to smile like a celebrity you've found the best dentist with Mendelovitz!!!
