For two major procedures, regular check-ups and teeth cleaning I've found Dr. Bauer to be the most up-to-date, professional dentist I have ever had and, without exception his staff is also top notch. As someone who has spoken at nine dental conferences I first checked out his reputation before i went to him and have never had even a mediocre experience. The office is modern, runs smoothly and the staff seem genuinely happy to be a part of the team

Great experience. I lost my front tooth in an auto accident. Dr. Bauer referred me to Dr. Alex Kashef who was also awesome. My experience with all of this was excellent. They are a very caring and compassionate staff. Thank you Dr. Bauer.

I've been going to Dr. Bauer for 3 years now. He's done crowns, filled cavities and replaced fillings for me. I had some bad experiences as a kid and still get really tense sitting in the dentist chair even today. Dr. Bauer put me at ease and took extra care to reassure and explain every thing to me and me so that I would be more comfortable. His work is superb. I used to have all sorts of pain drinking or eating hot or cold things and now, I not only am pain free - my teeth look beautiful. I'm actually proud of my smile now! Hard to believe I actually look forward to going to the denist office now. His staff is warm and friendly - make you feel like family. I highly recommend Dr. Bauer to anyone seeking a good dentist you can trust.

He is a very caring and competant dentist. He is great. He has been very proactive in my dental care. He doesn't push any unecessary procedures. Additionally, the facilities are great.
About Hygienist: Naz is the best hygienist that one could find.

The facilities are great, and the staff and dentist are very friendly. But they said they "accepted" the insurance I had, but it turns out that didn't mean they were actually in-network, and I ended up having to pay a lot. Their estimate of what I would have to pay to have a filling fixed turned out to be much lower than what I actually paid. Dr. Bauer is very friendly, but made multiple comments that left me feeling that perhaps his technical competence wasn't the greatest. I'm also not convinced that my filling was redone properly.

I have been going to Dr. Bauer since around 1998. He is extremely skilled, kind, and professional. He has helped to keep my teeth in really good shape. As I have moved from place to place around the Bay Area, I keep coming back despite the drive. Dr. Bauer. I highly recommend Dr. Bauer.

I no longer fear "going to the dentist"! I even go more often just to get my teeth cleaned - the doctor and his staff are great - and his facility is VERY nice - his fees are no more expensive than the depressing place I used to go to. Now, it is a pleasure and I feel he is giving my the BEST oral health and cosmetics that I always wanted!
