Read Reviews for Dr. Jason Henderson
Poor technique, work does not last long, and he charges for re-evaluation. Even the temporary crown falls off, and the permanent crown only lasts 3 months - not very "permanent" - I see others have the same bad experience.

Dr. Jason fixed my broken filling on my back bottom tooth. He made me feel at ease both by talking me through tthe filling process and with his gentle nature at giving shots. Overall a great experience. By thy way did I mention that he and his staff were both quick and efficient.

Dr Jason D Henderson took over the great business (Forest Ave, San Jose) of Dr Eugene Kinoshita who retired in Apr 2006. I wish I saw the reviews before just giving him my business, and especially would not have let him proceed with the crown and inlay on 2 teeth that had not been bothering me. I consider his workmanship poor, and his attitude towards quality very lax. He says just come back if it's not right - which I had to for both the temp crown - had pointed edges; and the permanent crown and inlay which are improperly fitted, separating edges and rough surfaces. I prefer to get it right the first time. He recommended I need a crown to replace an old filling, and to fill a cracked tooth which he ended up doing an expensive inlay instead. Neither of these 2 teeth were bothering me when I went in for my 6 mos preventive care visit. Now both teeth are giving me pain and trouble eating and flossing. Multiple billing errors and arrogant accountant, most of the excellent staff from the previous dentist have left.

I thought Dr Henderson was very good. He did a number of fillings and crowns for me and the end result was very good. He is very good with shots and explains things well.
My only complaints are more with his support staff who put on the temporary crowns, which kept popping off.

I cant write any comments about the DDS because I hardly met him.
My initial visits were stressful. At the first visit, assistant has made x-rays and after a while doctor came. He stayed few minutes mostly talking to his assistant (dictating x-ray reading), asked me a couple questions and left saying that we will talk about the treatment next day. The next day only one of his assistants met me. He presented me with a large estimate for very extensive (too extensive in my understanding) treatment. Assistant has made an effort to be accommodating but he couldnt answer many of my questions. The doctor didnt show up at all.
Im new to the area and I need to find truly skilful, holistic and conservative in treatment DDS who would consult me about the options of possible treatments. I need someone who cares and whose skills I could trust.

Been going here for a while. They have expanded a lot recently and seem to have all the latest equipment but you certainly pay for it. I had a crown and two fillings done and it cost a bundle. The people are nice and friendly but there is not enough attention from the dentist himself. This shuffling between the dentist and assistants doesn't do much for patient care and left me confused at times. Also, they messed up my billing which is impossible enough to understand at the best of times, even worse when they get it wrong.

Staff is usually rude.
Bill statements are not detailed enough as well as alternatives.

The facilities are nice. Customer service, ok. Treatment I hope will last. This dentist is very expensive!!! Charges out of pocket for everything! QUESTION HIM, get a second opinion!!! They make it seem like you have to get a certain procedure with no Alternatives! or the material they use. Seems like the assistants do all the work. One crown feels weird that he gave me, compared to others. My advice, get a second opinion for any high end work that needs to be done, crowns or anything. They fear you into getting procedures done, like if you don't get this done...SOON, NOW, something bad will happen.. They make you pay your portion there, without billing the insurance first! Stress with bills!!!

Had a great overall experience with Dr. Jason. Had a large cavity and he did a conservative porcelin restoration to help save as much of my tooth as possible. He and his asistants are both fast and friendly.
