I am a busy professional and I love Dr. Light. I've referred her to half of my office. She is extremely good at staying on schedule. No long waits at this office. She is diligent at staying on track. If you are chronically late or need lots of time with your dentist this is not the Dr for you.
If you are super busy and need to have a great cleaning Dr. Light is for you. She does not spend 40 minutes scaling your teeth because she uses the baking soda high pressure cleaning treatment. It is the best cleaning I've ever had.
About Front Desk: Front desk staff is helpful and clear with communication for the way Dr. Light works. The staff is fun and friendly enough. This a very efficient office, there is not a lot of time being wasted on non-productive activities. The Dr. and staff at this office take care of business. They are very impressive.
About Hygienist: Dr. Light cleans your teeth and the hygienist does the polishing.

i had xrays, cleaning, crown, Dentist does the cleanings, no gum measuring or hand scaling- sonic only. gives rough shots, shoots it in quick, that was my biggest complaint. crown's bite was off and she overground it so now food sticks on top :(
good side: on time, quick, reasonable fees, clean, pleasant, uses numbing gel for cleaning
About Hygienist: no hygientist

Crowns, cavities, supervised replacement of a Maryland bridge with an implant. Great office, timely, professional and courteous. I recommend highly. I have kept Dr. Light through multiple insurance providers and jobs.

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE -- They way she treats her staff and the way she treats her patients is absolutely scary! I've literally seen/heard her screaming at her staff in front of patients, not to mention yelling at a patient over the phone for cancelling an appt. Her staff is WONDERFUL but she is by far the coldest, meanest and perhaps most angry dentist I've ever met.

Dr. Light has overseen many improvements in my dental health and cosmetic appearance of my teeth. Although I am now a 30-minute drive from her office I continue to be her patient. She's highly competent, consultative and punctual with her appointments. In 11 years I have only waited to see her once, for about ten minutes. What's also convenient is her proximity to orthodontists, periodontists and other medical facilities, all of whom I have used in the past. Trust her referrals.
About Hygienist: I've been a patient through about four or five sets of assistants. All competent and considerate kids.

Dr. Light personally performed my tooth cleaning and it was the best cleaning I ever had. None of my former DDS performed cleaning it always their hygienist, so I was pretty impressed that Dr. Light herself did my cleaning.

Dr Light is FANTASTIC. I felt compelled to write a review because she is that good. I didn't even realize how lucky I've been until recently having switched dentists (I moved up north) and being terribly disappointed with the level of service I've received. Dr Light is so good that I actually am willing to travel to see her twice a year!
Dr Light's office really is exceptional - they humored me when I showed up the wrong week (ohh, it's next tuesday!) and have been very helpful with insurance claims. Dr Light cleans my teeth herself and is very gentle.

Had a couple of fillings done - and my teeth cleaned. NO hygenists... the dentist does the cleaning herself!! SO easy, so painless, such a relief to find her.
I moved out of the area, but I still went back to her... 5 years later, and I've moved to England, and she's STILL my dentist!!
I can't recommend her strongly enough!!!
