EXCELLENT dentist. I can't tell you how many "used car salesmen" dental offices I've been to. This office is a huge relief. Honest, kind, caring and clean office. After receiving some recommendations from HMO dentist on my plan (which recommendations did not make sense), I decided to pay out of pocket for another opinion.
From the other dentist using a scare tactic telling me I needed a bone implant or else I was going to lose my tooth (Horrible to be lied to), I went to him and got the straight answer.
My children went to another dentist under my HMO and they were dishonest too. I would recommend to anyone that you not use an HMO plan. Dentist get like $4.00 a month under the HMO plans so they have huge incentives to sell you other things.
Now, if you don't floss daily, you ARE going to need work.
Dr. Kane is so honest. I've referred three of my friends to him and they all rave about him and are so thankful to have found an honest dentist. He'll give you the straight scoop and if he says you need a certain course of action, you probably do.
Highly recommend him.
About Hygienist: Thorough. Does a great job. Sometimes they dig a little deep so you are sore for a day or so, but it's because she gets every bit of plaque and the most important plaque to get at is the one below the gum line. Terrific staff!
