A kind, gentle dentist. If you have anxieties about dentists, this is the guy for you. He was recommended to us by a friend who was totally afraid of dentists.
About Hygienist: He has several hygienists. My wife likes one in particuar, but they are all good.

The office is very professional and very busy. The dental hygienists are great about the office hygiene and cleanliness which is important. if you miss a cental cleaning appointment, you're out of luck for several months so it is important to meet those dates. Dr. hamaki is very calm and competent, never oversells but offers measured advice.

Ron is a craftsman and an honest dentist. I've gone in with a complaint and he said it was sinus pain. I believe some dentists will use a complaint to initiate a procedure. Ron only does honest work.
I'm a tradesman and service a couple dental office buildings belonging to another dentist, so I know and talk to a lot of dentists. They all respect Ron and recommend him. Several guys have the big glitzy office with all the expensive trappings which doesn't impress me, even if you're getting good service. I want a guy who has good tools and knows how to use them. A dentist is a highly educated craftsman. He needs to know the anatomy and chemistry, but the workmanship is what counts, and I'd call Ron the best except I don't know all the others.
I can't talk much to price as I don't have anyone to compare with Ron, but I know form what he charges me that he's not pushing the money to the bank in wheelbarrows. Even a modest dental office has to have secretary, receptionist, library update service, insurance, rent, insurance billing person, yada, yada, yada, and the doctor doesn't see much of what you pay. If he were expensive, he wouldn't be under Delta Dental.

Careful and consistent - did a bunch of fillings and work for other family members. No complaints - friendly, with good service. Insurance has always covered, so I can't speak to cost.

Hamako is very calm, relaxing, confident, and clearly experienced. He provides personal service that you don't expect from most. He is easily available and his staff is helpful, compassionate, and always friendly. Have had routine work and crowns - no complaints. One of the best of the dozens of dentists I've had over my lifetime.
