Dr. Jensen used a panoramic x-ray to examine my jaw and teeth. He did not appear adequately trained in using this device and suggested that I may have "a big problem or no problem at all." He then suggested waiting 6 months to look into it. The "problem" was that he thought I might have a malignant, matastatic lesion in my mouth. I had to press him to tell me his concerns. Obviously, this created much stress and cost, as I decided to get a follow-up CT scan and have a dental radiologist review the film. I feel he was functioning out of the scope of his training and that his bedside manner was very poor.

A friend recommended me Dr. Jensen 7 years ago. In general, I like him. He has a relaxing manner, discusses your treatment options with you and has an air of a guy knowing what he does. Also, he has the highest possible level of training (or at least had 7 years ago according to my previous dentist in Washington, DC). Also, he does the most painless injections out of all dentists I encountered. On the negative side, I had a filling and a crown that resulted in a root canal. Don't know if it's a dentist fault, may be those root canals were ready to go bad anyway.

I saw Dr. Jensen several times a few years ago. He was great. His work was quality, he has a very relaxing manner, and he was very good with the needle (very little pain). I would definitely recommend him. The only reason I stopped seeing him was that he stopped taking my insurance.

Dr. Jensen was recommended by my children's dentist as the "best general practice dentist in the area." I had had a bad injection experience with my old dentist and I was extremely anxious. Dr. Jensen explained everything very well, answered all of my questions and was extremely conscientious. I experienced no pain and everything went well. Later, Dr. Jensen put a gold crown in my mouth, which also went very well. I was talking with his assistant about real estate and when I suggested she could work anywhere, she said something like, "oh no, I could only work for Dr. Jensen. He is a perfectionist, like me. No other dentist could meet my high standards." I agree. Dr. Jensen is the best and his staff is great, too.
