Awesome dentist. He never makes a mistake and he is likely to become your friend before you leave. The world needs more dentists like him.

He is a customer-oriented dentist with great knowledge/experience and conservative treatment with good skill. My ex-dentist told me to put a crown but he suggested not to do so. After 7 years, I still do not need a crown.

I have not been particularly happy with Dr. Krauss, although that may be a reflection of my dental problems, and not him per se. Despite improving my dental care significantly over the past two years, my problems seem to be getting worse. More importantly, I find his hygenist to condescending. At my most recent cleaning, the hygenist told me I had new cavity, this just literally a few weeks after having 2 more fillings placed! I was quite frustrated, and asked to see Dr. Krauss, but he wasn't even there! I couldn't believe they were telling me I needed a filling without the dentist examining me! My visits with Dr. Krauss have always been okay, but I do not find him to be that personable, and he always seems to be in a rush to get out of the room. I am now looking for a 2nd opinion.

My mother worked as a dental assistant for many years, so I am familiar w/ various facilities, procedures, etc. Joe Krauss is BY FAR the finest dentist to date. Great with kids, elders, and just plain folks like me.

I had a great experience with Dr Krauss. He was thorough with the examination and explained himself patiently. His treatment recommendation was geared around minimizing unnecessary dental work. He was very ethical. My experince there was refreshing.
