DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!!! My experience with Dr. Starr was terrible. The only procedure he ever performed on me was in 2008 to fix a chip on my front upper tooth. In the process of doing so, he made the mistake of putting too much bonding agent on the back of my tooth. And in while taking it off, he not only took off the bonding agent but most of the enamel on the back of the tooth, as well. As a result, the dentin and many of the nerves in the tooth are exposed and I have a great deal of pain and sensitivity to hot and cold. In fact, I have pain and sensitivity in the tooth to the point that I may need a root canal! Needles to say, I changed dentists and I now have to use expensive toothpastes (Sensodyne and Prevident for sensitivity) and get sealants on the back of the tooth to avoid the root canal. Even with the toothpastes and sealants, I still may need the root canal! Dr. Starr took no responsibility for this and refused to cover some of the costs needed to deal with the damage he caused to my tooth by his mistakes. I am taking him to small claims court about this! I had a healthy front upper tooth with a small chip on it and my terrible treatment from Dr. Starr turned it into an unhealthy tooth! AVOID HIM!!!!

I started going to Dr. Starr when I was a child. He was the only dentist that didn't scare me. I will continue to go to Dr. Starr for as long as I have teeth and my children will go there too. He is the best!

very good. Does good work and saved teeth that might have had to be pulled.

I started with Jeff's dad, Jim, in 1965. I've been absolutely satisfied with both as has my wife. Costs have been covered by insurance except for a few $ now & then, so my evaluation of cost may not be realistic.
I'd hate a health spa or 5 star hotel treatment. For me, the atmosphere is just right, and the staff keeps things relaxed. Referrals for root canals (Oh, joy!!), etc. have been to equally competent and pleasant offices And I've got to tell you, we have not presented father or son with easy sets of teeth to care for; we didn't get good dental genes or flouride. Couldn't be happier.

Dr. Jeffery Starr's father started the office and did a pair of "Maryland" Bridges that no one else in the area could do as well. Jeffery Starr replaced 1 when it finally went. Again most dentists were not interested, pushed implants. Needs regluing now-- a minor problem. I use a closer dentist for regular work.
