Overall, I think that Dr Kim is a great dentist.
I've been to my fair share of dentists and Dr Kim is not only very knowledgable, but also genuinely very caring.
He's honest and seems to stand behind what he does.
What I like about him is that he really seems to have MY best interests in mind. He's direct and matter of fact with his presentation and doesn't go for the hard "sell". You need this, you don't need this, we'll wait on this, I would do this one first, this is what I would do...clear and helpful. On top of all this, he doesn't hurt and is very patient with me.

Its a huge relief to be able to trust someone who will be drilling in your mouth. I was scared to go to a dentist, and I knew I had at least 5 cavities. After a long comprehensive discussion about everything that he was going to do my teeth he assured me nothing would hurt and that he would do everything in his power to make this experience a pleasant one. He did an excellent job and I felt no pain at all. He was very attentive and gentle with me. I now have confidence in getting my teeth worked on. I recommend seeing him, he is super skilled at what he does.

I've followed Dr kim from an older office down in Montebello back in 2000. He's always been very courteous, professional and best of all, PAINLESS! I've only had one implant done by him and one veneer replaced from another dentist in the 90's, but both of them have turned out great and I couldn't recommend him more. I've been to a lot of dentists in my lifetime and I can tell the shady ones from the ones that are more sincere. Dr Kim seems to enjoy what he does and really takes the trust you put in him seriously. You can't do any better than him!

New to the area. Got the referral from a co-worker.
Dr Kim answered to phone himself...apparently it was after hours and he forwards the calls to his personal cell phone. But I was impressed just by that alone!
Very friendly over the phone and was just as nice in person. The office is clean, nothing too fancy or "spa-like"...simply decorated with soothing colors. I just needed a cleaning and a crown, and I was happy with all the work performed. No pain and the work seemed like it was meticulously done vs. a hurried dentist I had in the past.
I would recommend him to anyone.

excellent service. you can tell he really cares.
very knowledgable and explains everything so that i can understand.
all the billing was clear and there were no surprises or hidden fees.
he went out of his way to make sure that i was comfortable and made sure that i didn't have to wait.
works with a very nice gum surgeon for the implants and the veneers he did on my front teeth....wow! you can't tell even up close!
