Read Reviews for Dr. Kenneth Mak
I have seen two of the dentists here and have always been treated well. They are very gentle and explain everything. They recently moved to a new office, which is state of the art. I have sent my visiting daughter who had a bad toothache and she was seen right away.

Dr. Mak took over for Dr. David Lawson, where I had been going since 1992. I was always VERY happy with their services. Since Dr. Lawson retired, the practice seems to have gotten too big. Dr. Mak frequently runs "behind" so you end up being seen by another dentist in the practice. I have overheard the staff (in more than one instance), call patients at home prior to an appointment to say that Dr. Mak is running behind and asking them to come a bit later. There seems to be a pattern here. I decided to change dentists after taking my child for their 2nd dental appointment. At that time x-rays indicated he had 2 cavities. Dr. Mak said they must have missed it on the first x-rays 6 months earlier. The only problem was they had not taken xrays at his first (ever) appointment. These cavities could have (should have) been caught earlier. While all of the dentists and other staff are very nice and seem to be competent, this practice has lost its personal touch. They have moved to different facilities but I only know that from overhearing a conversation between staff (re. the pending move) while waiting for an appt. As a patient of that office for 15+ years, I have never been notified that they are now in a different location.
I know this doctor: 5+
