Dr. Mendoza-Sobel is an exceptional pediatric dentist. Both my children ages 8 and 6 have always loved her. Dr. Letty (that's what the kids call her) has always taken so much time to help my children feel comfortable with her and the tools she uses for the check-ups/cleanings. My younger child was very nervous about seeing a dentist and Dr. Letty took extra special care to work at a slower pace, letting her sit on my lap for check ups, only completing as much as she could before my daughter's resistances flared up. My daughter has finally become a good patient, I think, because of Dr. Letty's patience and gentle care. She also volunteered to provide dental education at my children's school for free! They loved seeing her at school. The front desk staff are also exceptionally warm and friendly and very tuned into the needs of small children. As far as I can tell, the cost is what it should be for this level care. I would never take my children to a cheap dentist anyway. All the people in this practice will take good care of you and your children. I have also been in the office and witnessed other parents having traumatic procedures (emergencies, etc.) for their children and everyone is handled with such care and sensitivity.

She is great! Moy son LOVES her and so do I. She has a great personality and does a wonderful job. She has a very child friendly office (TOYS and BOOKS everywhere). Kids have fun because they get to wear cool sun glasses and get fun stickers. She explains everything to your child, tells them their responsibility and gives you all the preventive care and strategies needed. All around great experience! My son's friends go to her as well. As for the cost, I don't really know because my insurance covers it, however, Dr. Mendoza Sobel volunteers at a free clinic so I believe she is sensitive to low-income families. GREAT LADY! YOU'LL LOVE HER. p.s. get her while you can she is going to part-time soon, so her patient load will be decreasing.
