Read Reviews for Dr. Hector Fernandez
Dr. Fernandez and his staff were very kind, professional, efficient and accomodating. I was enroute to leave the country for a study abroad program for a year and had waited til the last minute to take care of my dental issues. I called the week before I was to leave and was able to book an appointment for a cleaning, xrays as well as getting my fillings done. I initially felt very anxious, which is why I had avoided the dentist in the first place, but after meeting with Dr. Fernandez I relaxed and even found the experience pleasant. I would definetly recommend Dr. Fernandez to all of my friends.

Dr. Fernandez did 6 fillings for me at my second visit. Two of them failed because I could not close my mouth perfectly and the jaw was sour. I had to let him take the fillings out the following visit. But he refused to refund my money back or give me further treatment for those two teeth. When I switch to my current dentist, he told me that there are no fillings for another two teeth at all. Sure, Dr. Fernandez's office and facilities look beautiful, but your priority concern is the success of your teeth treatment. I did not receive successful treatment from Dr Fernandez and I do think Dr. Fernandez has ethical problems.

Dr. Fernandez's office is very clean and beautiful. The front office personell are very nice and I have been a patient for more than 10 years. I had one of my front teeth crowned and it is difficult to tell which tooth is the fake.... great job.

The staff wonderful & the hygenist, Lillian terrific. The dentist Dr. Fernandez I found arrogant, insensitive, and lacked professional courtesy. After a complete set of Xrays and teeth cleaning, I first met Dr. Fernandez without an introduction, then he paused & introduced himself. Upon evaluating my mouth, he advised my top left back molar's cap was damaged. He explained it would take a minimum of 5 separate appointments to remove the crown, evaluate the natural tooth to see if it could be "built back up" but thought I would most likely lose the tooth. I asked if I lost the tooth what next, he said "You live with it" I asked what other options did I have and he said my sinuses made me a poor candidate for a transplant. Transplant? What is a transplant, he never advised other options or what a transplant procedure encompassed. Additionally, my bottom back molar had lost a sizeable composition filling and was showing additional decay. He suggested an additional 5 visits to perform a root canal and crown. Past dentists required 2 visits for a crown. When I asked why 10? he said, "That's my treatment you can take it or leave it." I asked him if he wanted the job he replied, "No, not really" He showed no compassion
