She is a likable and conversational person and seems very interested in doing a decent job.
A couple months ago she sent me for a root canal at her husbands practice and he did a partial job, closed me back up, and sent me home. He explained that he was unsure whether Dr. Char would recommend pulling it or what else she might suggest.
I ended up needing the root canal because apparently there was some hidden decay in that tooth but I was not informed of it from a previous visit -- so it was left unattended until it became painful.
Had I known about the decay I'd probably have had it worked on immediately. Even though the decay was on the old x-ray and was small -- I'd still like to have had it pointed out -- even if I'd declined to work on it then. At least I'd not be thinking that she should have pointed it out to me.
Kenneth Fat told me he'd forward my results to her and she'd contact me with her recommendation.
That was a couple months ago and I've not heard from her. The temporaries are getting loose and there's some pain. I'm unsure whether to go back there or look elsewhere.
Since the treatment is incomplete I'd say that some of the ratings I gave are also uncertain. I may go back. I don't know.

Dr. Char and the office of Kenneth Fat DDS, in the best experience that I have had with dentists in years. It is hard to find a good dentist and I believe that Dr. Char and the employees of that office are the best.

Dr. Char is a friendly very talkative dentist. I do not have any complaints about Dr. Char herself. Office is not very private, you could hear other patient conversations, this is a "family business", everyone excuses eachother. The waiting time is a bit long, if you have a 2:00 appointment, expect to be called back fairly quickly, but than expect to wait in the exam room for at least 20-30 minutes if lucky. Make sure to get second opinions of your treatments. Staff, Mrs. Serena in particular not very helpful and doesn't seem to care about the patients. I traveled about 20 miles to visit this dentist, while having a couple in my own area. I highly recommend visiting you local Dentist before scheduling with this Dental office.

Dr. Char is great! Her patient manner, well I feel like I have know her for 20 years when in fact I have only had 5 visits. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I tell everyone who is looking for a DDS to call Dr. Char.
