Dr. Delehanty has been our family dentist since I was approx. 10 yrs old. I didn't think much of him until I moved away to college.
Two things I really appriciate about Dr. Delehanty
1) I had no dental insurance in college so whenever I'd come home for xmas/thanksgiving/spring break, I'd be able to see the doctor on short notice and he was very understanding of my financial situation.
2) In 2005 I had a sticky hole (beginning cavity) and he was so skilled, he was able to drill without any novocaine. No pain. No shots. Just a solid filling.
It's only after I've graduated and I have health insurance, that I've had to experience really bad dentistry from other dentist in San Jose, CA. I now realize how good I had it with Dr Delehanty.
I'd say that the doctor is a simple man, with a simple office and a pleasent bed-side manner. See him if you want quality work and honest diagnosis.
Trust me, there are plenty of high price, high frils, over diagnosis doctors down here in the bay area that will say anything to get more $$$$ and could care less about quality of work.
