Dr. Specter is without a doubt the best dentist that I have ever gone to in my 50+ years or dental care. I have met a few people like Dr. Specter in my life, this is a man who loves what he does. I personally would never want to do dentistry for a living but Dr. Specter is one of those rare individuals who almost seems to have been born to be a dentist. If you want the best possible dental care, anywhere, then Dr. Specter is for you.
On the other hand if you hate spending time a dentist chair then you may not like the way Dr. Specter works. He believes in getting it right the first time, and if that takes a bit longer to do then he will take his time. I have never had any trouble with any of the work that Dr. Specter has done (fillings, crown, root canal, cleanings, etc.) and would trust him with any work that he is willing to perform, but he will tell you immediately if he feels that a proceedure would be best performed by someone else.
Dr. Specter is an artist at what he does. He is extremely careful to minimize the discomfort to his patients, but he is not quick. If you are looking for a dentist that can do a filling in 3 minutes, that will last 3 years go somewhere else, but if you want it done right go to David.

We have used Dr. Spector for several years. He has opened his office for "emergency" treatment in the evening and once on the weekend for myself and once for my daughter. He has gone out of his way to accommodate our schedule. His treatments have always been most professional and without stress or pain. Dr. Spector has stressed preventative care. We started using Dr. Spector because he accepted our insurance. We have gone to other dentist that were closer to home or work only to be disappointed and have always gone back to Dr. Spector. We live in Granite Bay and have gone to a dentist that has the nice plush office and great address and was much closer only to be very disappointed. Dr. Spector treats us like family and we appreciate his care and interest. At my age (64) we have used many doctors and dentists but honestly, he is one of the finest, most caring professionals I have had the pleasure to meet. Dr. David Spector is the BEST in my book!

Dr. Spector is a great dentist - he takes his time to do quality work and will "eat" time and material if the work is not satisfactory, both to himself and or his patient.
My husband and I have been using Dr. Spector's service for over six years and neither of us changed providers even when our insurance did not cover.
Dr. Spector has allowed us to make payments on certain services that were not deemed covered by our insurance - what Doctor does that is this day and age?
Both of us have had routine cleanings, emergency root canals and for me, the latest, an exemplary chair side composite veneer which reshaped and lightened the color of two teeth - ask to see his before and after pix.
Dr. Spector is an exceptional artist, who takes pride in creating a smile worth seeing.
You cannot obtain better care - I have had three other dentists before I met Dr. Spector and I will do my utmost to keep this dentist.

Very expensive!!!!!!!!!! In my opinion wanted to perform excessive work.
