Read Reviews for Dr. Brent Varshawsky
Dr Varshawsky has been taking care of my Dental needs for the past 5 years. He is a kind and compassionate dentist. He was able to get me numb with out any discomfort and made me feel comfortable and at ease. He thoroughly explained the procedure and options and answered all of my questions. The staff was able to accomodate my work schedule and get me in for late appointments after work. I have recommended several people to see Dr. Varshawsky for their dental needs.

He has been my dentist for years. I have always been satisfied. His dental skills and people skills are the best. Now I am sending my kids there as well.

This is the worst dental facility I have ever delt with. I have been attempting to get a NEW PATIENT appointment since July 2011 only to be 1) placed on hold & never returned to, 2) left messages DURING regular business hours & never returned call, 3) office has rescheduled appointment THREE TIMES!
WE will NEVER use this dentist and will be filing a complaint with the dental board and our insurance!
BE VERY AWARE OF THIS DENTIS!!!!

I saw Dr. Varshawsky for a cracked tooth and it was very difficult to make an appointment. I had to wait a week. On the day of my appointment I get a call to see if I could come in later, that they were backed up. I only had a little time till I to go to work. When I got there the office was full of people waiting for him. I waited 40 minutes before I saw him and now I had to leave for work soon. They rushed me through and he said I would have to remove the tooth, but I'd have to come back because now we were out of time. There was a little piece of tooth hanging and he just yanked it out without telling me he was going to and boy did it hurt! I was so mad!
Now my tooth was throbbing. The whole experience was the worst I've ever had with a dentist. Needless to say I never went back to him nor would I recommend him.

Dr. Varshawsky knows what he's doing but is very clumsy, he even dropped my crown on the floor twice! The pain level during the entire procedure was a constant " moderate to severe" . The equipment in the office is covered in rust due to constant running of the humidifier. Worst of all the front desk lady is horrible with scheduling appointments or even acting like a nice human being. I'm a very understanding person, but my patience was put to the test with my experience at this office. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. Its just a bad experience all around. Also the wait time is extremely long.

Dr. Varshawky really knows what he's doing. However, the problem is that we had a string of issues that finally made us leave. They included scheduling errors (my time's money), long waits, one time while he showed his employee something on the Internet, etc. There also is never a receptionist that you can call and always have to leave a message. Their business plan is flat out horrendous. I'm surprised they have any clients.
If they'd hire another dentist, a receptionist, and notify you and make sure you get it when they make a schedule change (which is all the time), then they'd get 4 stars...

Dr. Varshawsky has only looked at my teeth once after getting x-rays which took forever to scheldule. My cleaning was schelduled 6 months later due to no appointments available. While waiting in this time frame, we had to get referrals for our son to go to a pediatric dentist which we never got a phone call back for and had to actually show up and wait 45 minutes for the referral. When my appointment time came, I got a phone call that there was an emergency and had to rescheldule. I never got a reminder call so I also missed this appointment. Good luck actually getting someone on the phone. To schedule my initial visit took over 2 months even after repeated calls and messages. The front desk professionalism leaves a lot to be desired.
About Hygienist: I don't remember her name, but I do remember that she did not seem to care if I felt pain or not. I would grimace or make a painful sound. These reactions fell on deaf ears since there was no questioning if I was comfortable or in pain.

Dr. Varshawsy is a very nice guy. He explains things well and sits down to talk things through. I never felt rushed.
His staff is pretty friendly and always thorough. Some of the best cleanings ever!

I have been getting basic service only from this dentist (cleanings, x-rays, minor fillings). It is my impression that this dentist recommends only necessary treatments, fairly conservative, which is generally the way I am. Costs are reasonable (if not below average) for both insurance covered and non-covered treatments. The hygienists seem to be thorough and there have been no problems with them. It seems about half the time I have to wait a little while (15-30 minutes), although sometimes this is on schedule. I occasionally get a call to reschedule to a slightly different time or date which I figure is to deal with a more urgent patient or so I will not have to wait. Basically takes care of my teeth, tells me what I need, doesn't try to sell me anything.
