I've been going to Dr Espiritu's office since I was in junior high school. The staff is pleasant and Dr. Espiritu, I believe is the best dentist out there. I'm afraid of shots and he has a method of massaging and giving the shot at the same time which makes it less painful. He's down to earth and relates very well to his patients. The other doctors in his office and his hygenist are wonderful as well. Thank-you for being so great!

Too many dentist is the reason for very impersonal relationship between Dr and Patient (Like a machine that just needs you to be done.) Won't explain what the procedure is for. I even asked their dentist how many teeth will they be fixing right before she looked in my kid's mouth and the dentist said she'll ask but never got an aswer from her. What the...??? X-ray not even computerized yet. They don't even give away toothbrush. Small wait area. Kids are dead bored waiting.
Don't even know the names of the dentists who work there.
I never wen't back.

Dr. Espiritu is the most gentle, patient, and thorough dentist I have ever had. His exams are first rate, as he takes great care to examine your teeth and x-rays thoroughly. He then describes exactly what he sees and will weigh it with your own comments on what you are experiencing. I wish he could be my medical doctor, too! The desk staff do an excellent job of explaining insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs.
I spend a little more time than I might like in the waiting area, the front desk seems overburdened sometimes, and the facilities are dark and drab--but I really feel like I get first-rate care so I don't mind. They are good where it matters. Dr. Espiritu also has an office in Redwood City that I've never visited.

overly busy office. they do not return phone calls in a timely fashion.

I am thankful for doctors like him whose staff takes time to explain how my dental insurance works. The staff are eager to help patients feel comfortable. The doctor is very professional in discussing with me my treatment plan and offered options for me to decide. Overall my experience was wonderful and would highly recommend his clinic to my family and friends.
