Read Reviews for Dr. Michael Lorman
I saw Dr Lorman because of jaw pain ascribed to a TMJ problem. After examining the affected area as well as my bite along with the x-rays I had brought with me, Dr Lorman took impressions in order to fashion a guard(mandibular) that would better align my bite and allow my TMJ to resolve. One week later I returned for my guard whose fit Dr Lorman ascertained to be perfict. Within 3-4 weeks of wearing my device, my symptoms had resolved and my relief was awesome!! I must say in all my dealings with him, Dr Lorman was most professional and showed great knowledge and skill. His office and waiting room were clean and comfortable and his staff thoughtful and accommodating. Finally, his fee was was very fair. I would certainly return to Dr Lorman if the need should arise.
About Front Desk: As noted, they were thoughtful and accommodating.

Terrible! He does not know what he is doing and seems very proud of the poor work that he does. I had to go to multiple appointments with another doctor to fix what he did. He should not be practicing dentistry.
He rushed through the procedure, chipped a tooth while he was at it, I needed immediate follow up (with someone else which ended up being 5 appointments in addition to the ones with this quack) and then he tried to say that his work was amazing. I hope he works on his own teeth sometime!
I called my insurance to complain and asked them not to reimburse him for his work.
About Front Desk: very nice (I would like to know how many of them go to this dentist).

About Hygienist: too distracted re: the dentist to worry about the hygienist.

My overall experience with Dr. Lorman has not been very positive. He did a filing for me which I needed to have redone shortly after. He did a real rush job on my filing -not sure why he was in such a hurry. I swtiched over to another doctor recently.
Positives are that the facilities are clean, you almost never have to wait and the staff is professional and courteous.

Dr. Lorman put some material between my front teeth to fill some gaps for aesthetic purpose. One of the teeth curved in so he redid it. The following day when I ate an apple, the new material fell off. I went back for a third time and he admitted that he had "skiped" a step. I wonder why. After a year, some seed got inside which reflects that the tooth was not sealed and therefore, he did it incorrectly once again.
He also put some material on my retainer and the material came off after a week.

Dr. Lorman is nice and friendly, but often seemed rushed to do his work. Less than three years later, most of of his fillings have fallen out and turned into needed root canals. the crown he did also fell off a day after he put it in. This was my experience, hopefully it won't be yours.
