I started going to Dr. Solomon about 12 years ago due to my messed up front upper teeth. I have been his patient ever since. You ask why? Simply put because he knows what he is doing and his confidence level puts me at ease. The results are amazing and he is fast. Lets face it not too many people like going to a dentist, however, Dr. Solomon changes all of that. His smile is warm, soothing and he is a very down to earth type of guy . He made 6 upper front veneers for me and they are GORGEOUS. Thank you Dr. Solomon. I got my confidence back and my self esteem is up also. I could not have found a better dentist than Dr. Sid Solomon.

I have had everything from deep cleanings to implants to cosmetic veneers done here. I had a health problem growing up that led to the deterioration of my oral condition. By the time I met Dr. Solomon I was fed up with uncaring, over priced, unprofessional dentists and thank goodness, Dr. Solomon turned my entire condition around for the positive 100%. His prices were by far better than many others, he was totally caring at all times, his staff honored my insurance 100% and helped me get them to cover many procedures.
If you want cheap, go to western dental. If you want good quality in an clean and genuinely friendly atmosphere from a doctor who really knows what he is doing, the go to Dr. Solomon.
About Front Desk: Nader is the nicest front desk dental guy I have ever met. he makes you feel like you are family and he makes sure you are never stressed or under pressure. Really the best.

Finding an honest dentist is quite difficult nowadays, but I will help you out by telling you that Dr. Sid Solomon is NOT one of them.
I normally go to a family friend, but because I recently changed insurances, I had to find a new dentist. I went to Dr. Solomon for a routine exam/cleaning. I was told that I also needed an antibiotic oral irrigation to cleanse my gums. I agreed to it because I trusted the opinion of not only one doctor (Dr. Solomon), but also the receptionist who holds a dental degree. However after I left, I asked my boss (who is a dentist at UCLA), another co-worker who is dentist at UCLA, and my uncle who is a practicing general dentist about the procedure, and they unfortunately all agreed that this was an UNNECESSARY procedure. Using an antibiotic irrigation is generally a procedure used after a deep cleaning (also called root planning and scaling) to prevent infection of the gums. Sadly, I neither got a deep cleaning nor do I have any gums problems; I floss every day and my gums do not bleed easily. I paid $125 for a procedure that I didn’t need because I mistakenly trusted the opinion of Dr. Solomon.

I don't know how to talk about dr sid solomon without saying that there is no one better. Obviously, I haven't been to every dentist but in my many years in Los Angeles I have been to numerous dentists who have worked on me before. I always found a problem with each of them. Some charged more than they initially told me, some didn't do a great job, and some just had attitude. With my personality, I always try to look for problems and I was impressed when I couldn't find any. Dr Solomon and his staff were respectful, professional, social, skilled, and truthful. Most importantly, they have consistently been like this. What's more is that the doctor really does practice painless dentistry.

I am a model in the acting industry and my teeth are super important to me. I had been posing with a closed mouth smile for all of my pictures up to now. My agent advised me it was time to start showing my teeth when I smiled because the teeth help to take the smile and the face to a whole higher level. I hesitated for a while, but started looking around. I went to some complimentary consultations to cosmetic dentists (will not name names) and needless to say, was not happy with them. They were either too cold, too expensive, too complicated to just not nice.
Thankfully, my worries ended and I found exactly what I was looking for when I met Dr. Sid.
To begin with, Barbara, the front person, was so kind and friendly on the phone. She took a long time telling me about Dr. Sid and explaining the office and answering my questions. She was very warm and welcoming and really made me feel like I was going to be in good hands.

I went for a deep cleaning which was covered 100 percent by my insurance but still ended up being charged 160 for antibiotics for the 2 quadrants I had done. It would have been 320 if I had returned for the other 2 quadrants. I ended up paying more in the DHMO than I had previously paid in a PPO. I only had one visit and part of it was my own stupidity for not reading what I signed so I can't go that far but I wish I had read the reviews before visiting this dentist.
About Hygienist: she was pleasant, cleaning was adequate but have had better at my previous dentist. Left him because I no longer work in the valley and didn't want to drive. My mistake

Very pleased with my procedure and it was pain free! I had several things done on my annual visit and then come to find out all the brushing I did can't prevent a broken tooth! Oh was I glad when he fixed it. Dr. Solomon of West Los Angeles is the only one to make me feel comfortable and relaxed in the most uncomfortable circumstances.

I am what they call a full mouth case (lot of issues with my teath!). When I met Dr. Sid, I knew he was the right dentist for me! The office is great! Looks and feels like health spa more than line an actual dental office. Most importantly, Dr. Sid is kind, caring and genuine. He listened to me and gave me the smile I always dreamed of. I recommend this office without any hesitation!

Dr. Solomon really cares about every patient. He explains everything as he is doing it, is caring, and takes the time to make sure your experience at the dentist is perfect.
