Dr. Markus did a root canal on me. He is not an Endodontist (RC Specialist, all they do is RC's)) nor did he tell me there was such a thing, or suggest I should see one- see, Dr. Markus thinks he can do no wrong. He had is asst do most of my crown and build up work, not him, he left the room. He left mid placement of my crown. My crown fit was horrible. Did you know a bad fit, can debilitize your jaw, neck and shoulders with pain- even TMJ! 4 months later, after I figured this out, I returned, His' adjustment of the crown was all of 10 minutes, and he charged me for it! He also adjusted two top teeth, and the one he lowered, he took the crown completely out of my bite, meaning now my jaw collapsed to one side, and my jaw popped. After another 2 months of pain, With a misalinged bite, I spent 2K$ flying to SF to see a bite sepcialist.(who spent 9 hrs w/me) I have been in pain now for 10 months, I am thinking of pulling the tooth, as it hurts every day(think about that, every day for 10 months). Dr. Markus is loud, he does not listen to the patient, he is not thorough, he is more interested in cosmetics than healthy teeth, he relies on his assts , he bullied me 'this is all ok'- he's horrible, a hack, I pay for it every day.

This guy is tremendous - not using him anymore as I have moved out of state but he was a great dentist and with ALL of the latest high tech hardware and software.
The hygenists were excellent also ...

Went through 3 dentists in San Diego before finding Dr. Marcus. He takes care of my whole family, and we all love him. He does not put pressure on us to do any unnecessary work. I've had my wisdom teeth pulled by him, as well as a root canal and a crown, and his work has all been great. I recommend him to everyone I know.

Very nice funny guy. I had 3 caps done by him in porcelin and they look and feel great.
