Read Reviews for Dr. Lawrence Brockman
I went to this guy because he was in my insurance plan. Big mistake! My root canal was particularly complicated, but instead of telling me that he did not have the proper equipment to effectively treat the tooth, he did a botched job leaving infection still in the tooth. He told me the tooth would be fine, that the calcified roots he could not access would not be a problem.
6 months later treatment is finally complete through another endo, but not before I went through excrutiating pain and $2,000 out-of-pocket. And when I notified Brockman of my nightmare, he refused to refund to me and my insurance company over $1,000 of monies paid to him.
While he seems nice, he gets away with not having current equipment because most root canals are no big deal and may not require it. As a professional making the choice not to invest in current equipment in his field, he should then refer his clients elsewhere when he is presented with a case he can not adequately treat. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE!!!

Great doctor!!! Friendly and caring staff!!! Super clean clinic!!!
You get personal treatment. You feel like a person, not a number. If you call him at night for an emergency, you get a quick and courteous response.
I would recommend him without any reservation!!!
I know this doctor: 1 year

The office staff is very nice and welcoming. There is never any wait. However, I am in the middle of treatment and so far it has been unsuccessful in getting rid of pain. So the stress level has been high. I am waiting for the pain to subside. I have hope that all will be well.

I can't say I'd recommend this dentist if you can get the same reults elsewhere. He'll come in, treat you for 2 minutes then disappear to see the patient in the other room without telling you when he'll come back. Once I waited about 20 minutes, in limbo not knowing what the heck was going on. He also told me he would switch my antibiotics after a root canal since it seemed that the antibiotics he gave me weren't working. Instead he gave me the same ones again. It was apparent he didnt have others and was just trying to appease me. Maybe he didn't treat me the way I expected because I was an insurance patient and didn't pay full fee. Who knows. Conclusin, if you can get a better recommendation - go there.

Dr. Brockman and his staff are extremely competent and helpful. I never felt like I was "just a patient" while there. Everyone knew my name, and my dental problems, and they were all readily available whenever I needed them, whether I had an appointment or not. Dr. Brockman also took the time to explain to me what needed to be done, and all the options I had before he took any action. He advised patience, and suggested that we both go over every possible solution to my problems. My case was (and is) not only a matter of health, but also of aesthetics, and he understood that immediately, and took it into account with every appointment I had. He cautioned against doing any extreme procedure until both he and I were satisfied that it should be done. He's professional and open-minded, although he is expensive. But being located in Beverly Hills, I saw that coming.
