I cannot recommend this doctor with good conscience. On Feb 9, 2016, I went to his practice for an evaluation of a tooth in which I was experiencing pain.
After careful examination of the event that day, it is now my conclusion that I was prey, not a patient to this doctor. I now see that he intentionally misdiagnosed my teeth and rushed me into getting root canals that did not need any such treatment.
He made it look like the work that my general dentist had done caused these teeth to need root canals. His manipulation was so covert and sophisticated that it took a long time for me to finally understand what had really taken place.
Dr. Cohen clearly has skill. I am certain that he performs good root canals, but it has become clear to me that he lacks something very essential to be an ethical doctor. He exploited my trust that has been built up over years. He made me consent to something that if I was fully informed, I would never have consented to by engaging in covert manipulation, secrecy and intimidation, mixed with charm, all working on the back of the patient's trust.
He drilled my teeth to the point that restoration is nearly impossible and it has become clear he doesn’t care what happen to the teeth he drilled.

He did not meet my expectation. I have seen other Doctors much better than him and much less expensive. I have gone to his office at least three times and he has not identified my source of pain. First he suggested root canal on one of my tooth, so performed root canal, after root canal he suggested Apico on the same tooth, then I did apico, later other stuff and I still have pain on the same tooth. Now that he had juiced up my pocket and my insurance, he response is let's extract your tooth.

For the first time in my life I was able to have a treatment done without any pain and most importantly, no pain after the anesthesia was gone. Unbelieveable!!!! Recovering process was a easy. He is the best endodentist I have ever had. I truly recommend him. Even though he is expensive, it is so worth it.

I hate dental work of any kind, but Dr. Cohen makes it bearable with his competance and great humor. He makes root canal therapy (almost) fun! The staff is friendly and helpful, the offices are beautiful, and the work I've had done there is top quality. Highly recommend.

I have had several awful dental experiences so I was anxious about another one. The procedure with Dr. Cohen was painless. Dr. Cohen was wonderful and helped me relax. I am so grateful to have found such a great endo!
