Procedures: Crowns, extractions, fillings
Pain: None. After the wisdom tooth extraction, I was eating solid foods the next day.
Hygenist: Excellent, when old fillings were being removed, did not let any fall to the back of the throat. Doctor and hygenist are like a well-choreographed team.
Chair-side manners: Very courteous - comfortable
Front desk: She is very polite and courteous - i was very surprised that she remembered me when i called for a second appointment a few months later.
Billing: Thorough and easy to read. Knowledgeable of my insurance plan.
I have recommended him and his son, Dr. Kurt Shimamoto to all my friends and family in the area.

There are good days and bad days. Sometimes Dr. Shimamoto is a little rough on the teeth. I would say lighten the touch, and it'd be better. Plus I always feel differently when I walk out of the office. I wish it could always be a good feeling. I'm okay with dentists, but he's not the same as the ones I've had in the past. Try him out, if you don't like him the first time, I don't think you should go back.

Dr. Shimamoto is extremeley gentle. He explains everything he is doing and checks often to be sure I am comfortable.
