Read Reviews for Dr. John Amos
Dr Amos performed a root canal on an abscessed tooth that I had
in approximately 1971 or 1972 . He was a new Dentist & told me that the
procedure & crown might only last 10-20 yrs. The tooth has
survived & I remember him as being very concerned & compassionate.

John has been the dentist for my wife and myself for the past 35 years. In the early days, John constructed a 4 front teeth lower bridge for me, that is still a showpiece for him to this day. John has done all our work during this time, cleanings, standard fillings, several crowns. He is meticulous in his work and we have always been extremely satisified. He maintains a very neat, modest office, and he keeps his costs in the moderate and affordable range. He has worked effectively with the several insurance carriers I have had during this span. I can highly recommend John Amos.

He's a one-man shop but a very good dentist. He used to have a hygienist but decided he can provide those services as well by himself. Given that he's a one-man shop he's quite organized and takes the major insurance carriers, he's friendly and has a gentle touch -- rarely have I had any significant pain though the most I've had done is crowns

The friendliest, nicest, BEST dentist I have ever had. (And I am 58!) Inspired my trust because of his intrinsic honesty and obvious expertise. Shares information with patient, so that patient can make his/her own decision based upon- X-rays, exams and his honest opinions. Charming office, neat and professional, but with personal touches which put the patient as ease; secure that he/she is in the care of someone who is not only highly skilled and experienced, but also honest and caring. I chose Dr. Amos from the yellow pages. I had a dentist who'd retired and sold his practic to a young dentist who asserted that all my "white" fillings were leaking and needed to be replaced by crowns at once. They were only a couple of years old. I was suspicious. I decided to go elsewhere. I have been seeing Dr. Amos for three years, and those "leaking" white fillings are still there, and fine. No wonder I trust him. When he replaced an old filling with a crown in a front tooth, the result was perfect and immediate. It could have been re-restored with another filling, but Dr. A counseled that I would get "a lift" from the crown--and he was right!! The color was a perfect match. I CANNOT HERALD THIS WONDERFUL DENTIST ENOUGH. Nancy Claire Johns
