Dr. Tony Vertongen is one of the best in medical profession (dental specialty included) today . He is the type of doctor one hopes to find and keep as long as one can.
He is experienced, knowledgable, enthusiastic about his specialty, constantly learning new techniques, interested in latest technology... , but most importantly he sincerely cares about his patients. I can attest to that.
Dr. Tony Vertongen has the most efficient office I've ever seen. I especially value the staff's punctuality, consideration, attention to detail, willingness to help, patience, ability to accomodate every patient or family which could be a very complex task.

I've no idea what promted the negative reviews here, but they could not be father from the truth. The entire staff is utterly friendly and completely knowledgeable. Furthermore, never in over 23 years was anyone ever rude or disrespectful to me or fellow staff members. As for quality and success of my treatments, I have to say that I have always experienced great success and never any discomfort before, during, or after any procedure. I have had every procedure short of surgery at this office including basic check-ups, fillings, whitening, crowns and replacement fillings, and Invisalign.
About Hygienist: The hygienists are always thorough and gentle; they have always been very polite when instructing me how to, perhaps, do a better jobs of brushing and flossing, as well

Overall, I had unpleasant experience at this dental office. The front desk person with tattoo was rude, the doctor shouts at this staff and even raised voice on the patient. The office has some of the new technology, but is badly missing human and personal touch.
I was forced into taking unnecessary Xrays and had overall negative experience, and will not go there and cannot recommend going there.

Dr. Vertongen's staff is outstanding, always friendly and quick to help. His equipment is state of the art, and well-maintained. Dr. Vertongen is professional, caring and accurate in his treatment plan and follow through with excellent results.

My entire family has been going to Dr. Vertongen since 1987 and we couldn't be happier with him. His excellent service and wonderful staff are top notch! In fact, I am currently living in NYC with a not-so-good dental plan and am planning seeing Dr. Vertongen and even paying full price for his service if I have to. He and his entire staff are so GREAT!

Extremely nice guy and comfortable facilities- an overall pleasant experience

Charges are high- chairside manner is poor. Pre-treatment insurance inquiry was incorrect resulting in surprise billing. When staff questioned, stonewalling and dunning bills were only response.
