I have been going to Dr. Riopelle for 20 years and have never had a negative experience. He and his staff are professional and kind as well as attentive to all of my concerns. The front office staff is very helpful with my insurance questions and can usually get me in for another appointment in a timely fashion. I really like the "paperless" office and same day crown service. I recommend this office to all of my family and friends.

Stay away from this office at all costs!!!
Kay at this office lied about my coverage and tried to cover it up. I had a cavity filled and three more planed. They told me I was covered and I wasn't, then tried to charge me over $300. To top it all off, I went to another dentist in Pleasanton to get a second opinion. I told them what had happened. They said that the 3 remaining cavities were so small that they could not be repaired and with normal care they won’t have to be. Not only did they lie about my coverage, they preformed work on my teeth that didn’t need to be done. Then they lied again about my coverage and tried to get me to come in again to have the other cavities filled.
If your looking for an honest dentist that will put your health before money, look anywhere but Dr. Riopelle’s offce. Everyone here, top to bottom, are some of the most dishonest people I have ever come across. They seem to be fine with it too. All I am asking is to have them waive the $329 in charges. They’re lucky I am not taking them to court. Not yet at least. Unreal!!
About Front Desk: Kay and Mary Jane are terrible and very dishonest. They both lied about my treatment plans and tried to cover it up. Beware! Stay Away!

These folks are more interested about their bottom line profits that anything else. I had some work done, and with cost being a big factor, in inquired to know exactly what the procedures would cost me. Their billing department gave me a verbal quote and offered to do the work for an agreed upon sum. After the work was completed and they were paid, I received an additional invoice for another $600. When contacting them to attempt to resolve the dispute they were very unhelpful. I asked to speak with the dentist and was refused. Instead, they sent me a certified letter threatening to send me to collection a week after I called about the erroneous invoice without ever providing me an opportunity to speak with the Dentist.

Dr. Riopelle's staff have always been curious, friendly and interested in my dental heath. I have had numerous dental procedures including cleanings, cavity fillings and dental implants. I have always been very satisfied with his professionalism, knowledge and treatment success.
About Hygienist: Jackie is great and I would recommend her to anyone.

I'd been going to him forever and was comfortable doing so. Every visit there were "beginnings of problems" that would cost $1500-$2000. Constant jacking of the bill, and unnecesarry procedures are the M.O. at Dr. Riopelle's office. My family had all stopped going there years ago, but finally now that I am at a different dentist I'm kicking myself for paying a fortune and wondering how many of the "preventitive" fillings were really bull. Thing is, he's the calmest, nicest guy. The fact remains though that they squeeze every penny they can out of your mouth, even when you don't need it. I know of about 12 family members that feel the same way. Go elsewhere.

I have had extensive dental and cosmetic work done with Dr. Riopelle this past year - it was a great experience and he did really good work. The staff is very nice too!
My 7 year old also had some filings done with Dr. Zeuss and she was really great with her and did a nice job!

He has always gone out of his way to make me feel more at ease and has accomodated me financially when I was in the hospital for 8 1/2 months. He wrote off 1/2 my bill.

Dr. Riopelle and his staff are wonderful! I'm always very comfortable, and the vibe is accomodating, professional, and friendly. They're great with kids, too!

This was my second visit to Dr. Riopelle. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I don't particularly care for going to the dentist and hadn't been in a few years. Dr. Riopelle and his staff were fantastic. They made me feel very comfortable through my entire visit. I would highly recommend Dr. Riopelle to anyone.
