WARNING: My husband and I have been haunted by Dr. Dollar's work for the past 23 years. And my husband's current dentist has had several of Dr. Dollar's old patients go in to her for problems he created. Back in 1990, I went to Dr. Dollar for a routine cleaning. I was 27 yrs old and had had perfect teeth my whole life, no cavities. Well, he said I had a cavity and drilled out almost half my tooth! I was horrified to discover this. It caused me so much pain for months that I went to get a root canal, but the surgeon said the pain would eventually go away on its own hopefully, which it did. The filling fell out soon after, and he put it back in and it fell out again soon after that. I finally switched to a good dentist and that filling has stayed in for 2 decades now. Also, my husband has had 4 molars, also drilled and filled by Dr. Dollar, that kept falling out, and needed crowns and root canals. Like me, his teeth had been perfect, no cavities before Dr. Dollar. His new dentist said she has had several patients that need crowns/root canals after their fillings fell out, fills put in by Dr. Dollar. His name is very suitable! BTW, I am a very honest person and Dr. Dollar has been a real nightmare for me. Stay away!!!

I have weak teeth since I was born and it was very difficult to find a good detnists in silicon valley when I moved here about 10 years ago. Dr. Dollar has excellent denstry skills, knowledge, and experiences and he makes sure that patient's teeth last long with comfort after treatments. He does not do dental implants itself but he does crowns for implants in excellent manner - I think he also has very good technicians which make crowns and bridges which last at least 10 years. The only thing negative about Dr. Dollar is that he only takes only one type of insurance - but I still go to him even if he's out of network.

I have had a significant amount of work done by Dr. Dollar in the last four years. When I first went to him, I let him know that it had been quite a while since I had the resources outside my minimal dental coverage to make some large cosmetic dental changes and I was worried about having metal show on even my back teeth. He said "All dentistry now can be cosmetic dentistry", even molars.
He and his staff took great care in doing my implant, crowns, and other fillings. I have just one extremely hard to see silver filling left and to his credit, Dr. Dollar noted it was in great shape and did not need replacing, He polished it on one of my early visits (no charge) so it feels glassy smooth. My smile looks incredible, but without looking fake like family members of mine who go elsewhere.
If I had a complaint, it would be that one time a crown came back from the dental ceramics lab a way wrong color and I had to come back in a week. Big deal, given my results.
I really liked one aspect of my treatment here and that regards cleanings. Cleanings here are done by a DDS and not a hygenist. I had root planing done for the third time in ten years (I floss every day now-no more bleeding) and went much smoother than before.

Dr. Dollar did a great job on my crown.Everyone is very friendly in the office.

The cost of all procedures left something to be desired. However, all that aside, Dr. Jeffrey Dollar is the kind of doctor who puts patient comfort at the top of his priorities. The high cost was entirely worth it!
