I was in Santa Cruz for a vacation with my kids. My youngest son was playing on the beach and fell and broke a tooth. We went to the Emergency Room at Dominican Hospital and after some stitches one of the senior Physicians refered us to a local dentist for the broken tooth. We called DR. Castillo and talked to his answering service. This Dr. came in on a Sunday Afternoon and took care of my son. I was so impressed with his professionalism, his clean office, and his staff that I have been a patient for some time now and schedule my dental apporintments around my vacations. His rates are very reasonable and I can tell he puts a lot of care into his work. I had a crown done and he worked up his own lab work and I have never had a problem with it. I also noted he recently upgraded his office to state of the art equipment and he has a neat TV/Video system that he lets his patients watch while he owrks.
