Read Reviews for Dr. Aura Torres
I became a patient of Dr. Torres when my insurance coverage changed and was no longer compatible with my old dentist. I had my last check-up with my old dentist about one year before meeting Dr. Torres. Despite a lifetime of very few cavities (3 total), Dr. Torres found in my first visit with her that I needed six (6) cavitites filled. This seemed an alarming and strange story that in one year I would develope six cavities needing fillings. I started on the first round of fillings and the result has been unsatisfactory. I had to halt drilling more than once to explain that not enough novocaine had kicked in to numb the pain. Three weeks after my first set of fillings with Dr. Torres I have pain where there wasn't pain to start out with and I feel as if I had left mid-procedure. The teeth worked on are incredibly sensitive, unable to bite completely down without pain, and have a porous rought finish to them. I am so frustrated that I trusted my teeth to this practice without adequately researching Dr. Torres. I should have questioned my diagnosis when it struck me as alarming and discrepant from my medical history. I feel three important teeth I rely on have been ruined.
