Very knowledgeable and professional. Very conscientious about patient's overall status of health, needs and ability to pay for necessary services. I am a patient with considerable dental work being done. I was extremely impressed with Dr. Yamada's skill, and his persistence to get it right.
About Hygienist: Excellent. Total office staff was perfectly tuned-in to my needs and dealt with me with great discretion, privacy and respect. They made me feel very comfortable.

He is the best Dentist in the world. LOL!! Had a 3 tooth extraction and it took him 30 minutes to pull out my tooth. He won't take advantage and he'll give you an options. I only pay $120.00 since I have insurance but still that's a good price for Santa Monica area. I was surprise the next day I didn't feel the pain and I start eating regular food. Don't need vicodin just had ibuprofen. I definitely recommend him.

I really like him. He's a fun guy and makes it more relaxing to go to the dentist. He's also very conscientious and he'll do anything to help you if you need it.

Dr. Yamada is great, does the cleanings himself. Friendly guy but seems a bit expensive, now that I no longer have dental insurance.
Quoted $77 for a cleaning and much more with x-rays.

I actually found him on a weekend when I had an emergency (a front cap broke off) and he was able to see me and provided excellent service. His wife is also a dentist in practice, Dr Lem. He does my cleanings and bleached my teeth and he is very professional and detail oriented. I love the staff, they are friendly and always take care of me. He has moved to a new office since I first visited; the new suites are beautiful and they validate parking!

Dr. Yamada cleans your teeth himself and does so very gently. He's affable and kind. I've consistently had good service over the past 10 years.
Once I received a filling that remained sensitive for months afterwards and he eventually refilled it at his expense without argument. This was the only time I had a problem and it was addressed fairly and easily.
I would recommend him.

Procedure-Bridge work---
It was performed over a molar with infection on roots- I advised him of that unsafe procedure- He, then performed a bad root canal work- I had a big infection 6 months after.Still the infection is there-Consecuences - Sinusitis and a Diagnosis from several others dentists- A surgery on the gums to reach the roots to correct the bad root canal--Cost- more than $4000.-
dollars- after 15 years still there--Reason-Not money to pay that cost---He should not be working as a dentist anymore!
