Dr. Prince and his staff are extremely friendly, and the facilities and equipment are great. There are a lot of bonuses--free dental impressions, whitening kits, etc. Invisalign is available, and he does it pretty cheaply. But after he cleaned my teeth, I could still see some tartar in a few places. I don't know if it just didn't come out or if he didn't notice it, but it's something that I'm going to ask about in the next check up/exam.

I thought Dr. Prince's chairside manner was a little dude-y, I could have used a little more gravitas, and I thought he was a little condescending towards a patient who has the drape on, can't talk and is drooling. It would be nice if he had a little more savvy to the fact that the patient may be feeling a lack of dignity at that moment, like don't call attention to the fact that they are drooling or ask them "got a hot date tonight?" Even if some patients have a personality type where you blow off remarks with a laugh, what about the ones that don't, and how do you know?
HOWEVER, I found out from my current dentist that a root canal by Dr. Prince was "done very well" and on a difficult white filling on a big tooth, "this dentist did *everything he could* ....' I think very highly of these impartial assessments so (I think) this is a positive review and a recommendation. He left a bad taste in my mouth but the mouth itself was treated excellent.

The woman who did billing sat down next to the dental chair and started telling me about billing issues while I had a mouthful of gauze and couldn't talk. I understand that we needed to discuss payment, but I thought it was sort of insensitive and added to the sense of humiliation. I think I went to the front desk and wrote out a note that said, look, can I please just come back in a few hours when I don't still have cotton in my mouth, when the local anesthetic has worn off, and we can handle payment then? My remarks are not about Dr. Prince's care per se, I thought he was fine. I would have preferred someone with a chairside manner who was just straightforward but detached , compared to Dr. Prince's cracking jokes, but other patients may like the opposite. He's excellent in terms of the quality of the procedures themselves. He knew what he was doing and did seem like a nice guy.
