Read Reviews for Dr. Richard Creese
Been going to Dr Creese for over 29 years and my husband has been going to him for over 30. I used to be afraid of dentists, but Dr. Creese cured me of that. He's very gentle yet extremely thorough. Even though I now have to commute quite a distance since I've moved out of the city, I couldn't imagine going elsewhere.
About Hygienist: He hires wonderful people and always great hygienists - especially Anna

He's great, old school, very knowledgeable and thorough. The views from most of the patient rooms are breathtaking and the builing itself, 451 Sutter-- an Art Deco gem, is a treat to step foot in.
He explains all options for a filling or crown and exactly what I should expect my insurance to cover.
About Hygienist: They rotate, always seem decent, though I must admit, Dr. Creese often does my cleanings as well.

Dr. Creese is very professional and competent. I feel confident in his skills and comfortable in his care. I always recommend him to my friends/family/coworkers when they need a dentist. I never have to wait for my appointment, but I just wish they would remodel the office a bit! Good service, lovely view, but a bit outdated.

Office is tiny, their nice, friendly receptionist no longer works there, Dr. Creese is nice but spends very little time looking at you - I felt like if I had a small cavity he would have missed it.
Also, his current hygenist is very rough and doesn't know how to floss, "I've never seen anyone bleed so much," she said.. (and I floss every day, sometimes twice a day)...maybe its because she snapped the floss through my interdental papilla (the triangular shaped piece of gum between your teeth)..not once but about 8-10 times...You are actually supposed to avoid snapping the floss through that and go along the contour of each tooth....Thanks Flor!...I'm never going back

I really like him and his office space. 450 Sutter is a beautiful Beaux Arts building, and the views from his suite are to die for. He's a straight-shooter, explains the options in laypersons' terms and lets, me the patient decide, which course of action to take. Costs are explained up front. I've never had to wait, which is too bad, since he has a nice selection of magazines; everything from the low-brow ,Time, to the more errudite, New Yorker. It's almost a pleasure to go to the dentist.

Just starting seeing Dr.Creese last year. It had been a number of years since I'd seen a dentist before him so I had to have alot of work done. He's very polite, staff are friendly. I never have to wait long and considering he is a dentist in the bay area I think his pricing is quite reasonable. Was terrrified of the dentist before this - he really calmed me down and told me everything that was happening. He's the best dentist I've ever seen and I've always been very happy with the results.

Had a couple cavities filled. The procedure was done very well with little pain.
Great customer service, friendly staff.
Doctor even called me the next morning to see how I was doing.
Small office on 10th floor of medical building, but the view was nice.
This was my first time paying for dental work myself so I was suprised at the cost but it was necessary work.
and the best part, no guilt trip about me not flossing enough.
He did advise that I floss reguarly but did so very politely, and I plan on following his advise.

Office is small but convenient, near union square in SF. I've been going to him for 6 years, usually no wait, good service, nice view, easy.
