I went to see Dr. Gutt because my gums were receding. My dentist was telling me every 6-months that "your gums are getting worse" but could offer no real treatment. I knew that I needed to find a Periodontist.
After researching Dr. Gutt on-line I scheduled a visit and I am so glad that I did. I have had three successful surgeries for recessions and the results were fantastic. Today my gums are healthy and the recessions have stopped. Thanks to Dr. Gutt and his expertise. He also instructed me on how to properly brush and maintain the healthy gums that I now have.
I would highly recommend Dr. Gutt to anyone that needs to see a Periodontist. He is professional and very thorough. During my consult he also discovered a tooth that required a root canal that my dentist had overlooked. His thoroughness allowed this weeping tooth to be corrected with a root canal and a crown (he did not complete either, not a sales pitch). Had it gone unnoticed much longer it very likely would have resulted in an abscess, tooth loss and an implant.
Not only is Dr. Gutt great so is his staff. His receptionist and hygienist have been with him since before my first day as a patient. Great staff. Clean facilities. Highly recommended.
About Front Desk: Professional, friendly, helpful and courteous. His receptionist has helped me with billing as my insurance coverage has changed multiple times over the years. Always calls to remind and confirm the day prior.

I completed my implant therapy with Dr. Mark Gutt about one year ago. I had an amazing & pain free experience in his office. Dr. Gutt provided me with all the information about the stages of the procedure and what to expect during my healing process. It was extremely calming to have all my questions and concerns answered by the friendly & knowledgeable staff. I really felt special when I received a call from Dr. Gutt himself the evening of my surgery to see how I was doing. I highly recommend Dr. Mark Gutt as a periodontist and implantologist.
