Before my seeing Dr. Nguyen, my left side major chewing tooth's crown was done twice by two dentists, which either caused bleeding/infection or fell off for times, ending up with severe route and gum infection.
Months ago, Dr. Hieu Nguyen first referenced me to an experienced dentist to successfully redo the route canal.
Right after, Dr. Nguyen carefully and professionally re-made my crown which has been working so well till today! Her detailed operation and easy-to-understand explanation were both impressive to me. She saved my major tooth. I will see her again...

I would like to say that all the staff at Optimal Dental Center in Fairfax, Virginia has been extremely helpful and professional in providing my wife and I the treatment that we needed.
I would especially like to give accolades to our dentist Hieu Nguyen. She has been nothing short of outstanding in the dental work that she has done for my wife and I. We had many numerous visits so far that included deep cleaning, many fillings, root canal, and crown. Each visit has been excellent. She is very knowledgeable; providing us with all the information that we needed. Dr. Nguyen is very caring, trustworthy, and courteous with her patients. I highly recommend her as a dentist.

About Hygienist: As for the dental assistants, they are all great, but I would especially like to thank Carlos for making our visits fun and relaxing.

I have been remiss in not posting all of my positive experiences and absolute delight of my dental visits with Dr. Nguyen and the fantastic work of her and her entire staff at Optimal Dental Center in Fairfax, Va
As a quick background, I have been extremely fearful of dentists since I was young and had not seen a dentist in over 5 years...thus I needed 4 crowns, 3 fillings and replacement of 9 existing metal fillings.
Dr. Nguyen is gentle, professional ,fun to work with and has really improved both my smile and outlook of dentistry...I cannot tell you the amount of times I have stared at her beautiful work she did on my teeth in the mirror.
While they offer sedation for patients to chose to be completely relaxed for dental procedures, I can personally attest that your probably don't need it...she is fantastic with the numbing procedures and I was never in pain or distress through significant hours of needed dental repairs.
I now fully realize that my fear of dentists was unfounded now that I have a caring dentist that cares for her patients and provides the most up--to-date modern dental techniques.
Even in office environment is relaxed, with friendly staff and a calm environment greeting you...go to see Dr. Nguyen !!!
About Hygienist: Carlos and Sue are great as assistants and Mary Jane, the hygienist took the time to teach me to both properly brush and take care of my teeth..it makes a difference and she is awesome
