I had an emergency the first time I called. The dentist got me in on a Sunday... needed a root canal... and he didn't charge me extra for coming in on a weekend. I didn't feel any pain and have gone to him ever since. He has a good bedside manner too... very compassionate.

I had a 3-tooth crown done and have been in serious pain ever since. I had NO pain before Dr. Herman 'treated' me...now, I have pain every day. also, i experienced a great deal of pain during procedures.
I would NEVER recommend this dentist to anyone, and am in the process of finding a new dentist for myself, my spouse, and my son. The office manager is always pressing for endless amounts of work. everytime I left the office, she had a spreadsheet prepared with payments for my next procedure. it was endless, and she was relentless. she'd call my cell, call me at home, and call my husband's cell.
My experience at this dental office was HORRIBLE. find a different dentist.

Patients seeing Dr. Herman would be well advised to seek a second opinion before having him complete any work beyond a basic cleaning. Based on the work he did on my wife, I believe he is a better salesman than a dentist, having convinced her to have dental work (a crown) that she didn't need in the first place (This according to the dentist who corrected Dr. Herman's work). The crown never fit properly and fell out less than 2 years later.
