After having had extensive dental work in my life, I found myself with failing teeth. In previous years three other dentists told me that my bone and gums were too good to remove my teeth, all said that they could repair my teeth for around 30 grand. One knows when they need new teeth. I made my 1st appointment with Dr Dunlap in late Jan (2017) He could see right away that my teeth were indeed failing and that it was affecting my health. He said yes and I started crying. I took the very 1st appt (March) I could to get started. The extractions are not the best part of your journey here but you will love the rest of the trip. I am fascinated how this office runs. Everyone is amazing!
Had my temps put in just hours before flight to DC for 6 days. Fit perfect no problem at all... boy did I eat. Well, I now am in possession of my new forever teeth. (July) I cried again They are beautiful and so is my smile again. Who knew that new teeth would be a life changer?

Where do I start? This dentist is the best I have had in my lifetime (55 years old) and I am extremely grateful to have found him. He treats you as an intelligent adult, explaining what needs to be done, and uses the xrays as a visual aid. After you decide what procedure you will be doing, the staff explains pre-op and post-op details. You feel well informed. Then, when I went in for my extraction/implant, I chose local anesthesia, and the procedure was pain free. The drills and equipment must be state of the art because I did not hear any loud grinding in my head. It was rather quiet considering the procedure being done. The dental assistant is the best I have experienced. She kept my mouth completely clean with the suction aspirator. I never had to swallow any gunk at all. This was a first for me, and I have been to 5 or 6 dentists during my life. I highly recommend this wonderful dentist and office.

My father needed a full mouth restoration with implants and spent nearly a year extensively researching reasonably priced and competent dentists throughout the Central Valley and Southern California. Fortunately, he found Dr. Ryan Dunlop at his new practice in our hometown of Fresno, CA. After an initial thorough consultation, we were able to work out a solid treatment plan for a reasonable price. My fiancée and I, both medical students, met with Dr. Dunlop and his staff and felt very comforted by his expertise and excellent patient rapport. Additionally, it was great to learn that Dr. Dunlop is a fellow UCLA Bruin and Harvard alum! We felt confident that my father was in the right hands. Dr. Dunlop truly goes out of his way to ensure patient safety and satisfaction. We are very pleased with the quality dental care my father has received and highly recommend him for all of your dental needs! He specializes in dental implants and his work speaks for itself with quality comparable to, if not exceeding, that of an oral surgeon. For the level of trust, care, compassion, and competitive pricing delivered at Better Life Dentistry, we feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Dunlop.
