Moved to Rocklin California a few years ago and needed a good dentist. A friend recommended Dr Smurthwaite to me and I had a great experience. His office is clean and comfortable, the people who work with him are friendly, and I have always had a good experience with the dental work he has done for me. I have lots of crowns and root canals and it is kind of cool because he can make the crowns right in his office while you wait.
They do tell you a lot about your options when you come in, like veneers, invisalign, which can be overwhelming, but I like it because I like to know what my options are.
They have TV's with movies in all the rooms and you can do sediation if you want. I have on several occasions. Thats pretty much it. I would highly recommend Dr Smurthwaite or any of the dentists at his Smile Quest office.
About Hygienist: I don't really need a hygienist that often so I only go about once a year, but they do a good job and both of them are friendly and didn't hurt me.
