Dr. Jennifer Plotnick is not only extremely skilled at what she does, she is also gentle, honest and really pleasant. She loves what she does and it shows. I've had more unpleasant experiences sitting in dental chairs than pleasant ones. Thank goodness I now have a dentist who I know will give me the best pain-free care at every visit.

No one likes to see the dentist...typically. But when you go and see Jen Plotnick at Dr Teichman's, it actually a can be fun experience...certainly a better experience than you are going to find anywhere else. I recently went 3 times over about 6 weeks to remove my all my old silver fillings (which I read have mercury in them, and that mercury slowly seeps into your body as they decay and cause a number of health problems over the years.) She is an utmost professional, put me at ease, told me jokes, efficient, careful to make sure the new filling was perfectly aligned to my bite. If you live anywhere along the F or G train, you should stop in and see what they are all about!

I know she is way too pretty - in fact, she's like the "Dentist" they cast in movies and tv shows to make you believe there are hotties at the dentist office (sure Jennifer Aniston is completely on trend in those incredibly flattering dental scrubs and is sexy even while giving you uncomfortable x-rays of your teeth all the while with perfectly tousled hair)- but in this case it's absolutely true - proving once again brains and beauty can be the one two punch of possibility.
Go Dr. Plotnick. The only fashionista turned dentist with the offical Miranda Jackson stamp of approval. And also, best dentist I've ever had to boot (and I will say my teeth were jacked when I first came to see her).

I went to Dr. Plotnick after cracking my tooth...I was very nervous and needed immediate attention. The doctor was incredibly warm and sympathetic and did a great job of putting me at ease and stopping the pain. She is a wonderful dentist with an incredible bedside manner. I will recommend Dr. Plotnick to everyone I know and will definitely be returning to her for my next visit.

I have been seeing Dr. Plotnick for about 2 years. She is the best dentist I have ever had. I initially came to her because I was having pain in a back molar. She quickly diagnosed a cracked tooth and fixed it right away. I didn't have anymore pain after the visit.
What sets her apart from other dentists is her warm and friendly way of communicating. She is very empathetic and knowledgeable and made me feel like my comfort and well being was her top priority. I also didn't feel like she was trying to sell me any unnecessary treatments.
I have always disliked going to the dentist, but Dr. Plotnick actually made it a comfortable and pleasant experience. I highly recommend.

This was the best dental visit I have ever experienced!
I had neglected to take care of a cavity for years and was afraid to have it looked at. Dr Plotnick was very considerate of my concerns. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed, despite my trepidation. Not only was she empathic to my fears, but she managed to work me into her busy schedule on very short notice, realizing the immediacy of my issue (admittedly brought on by my own neglect).
She's the first dentist I've been to who didn't make me feel guilty for my not-so-great dental hygiene. She was incredibly cool and accommodating --great traits for a dentist, as I now plan on taking better care of my mouth and visiting her regularly.

I've been going to Dr Plotnick for a few years. She is no longer at this office and now works in Park Slope. She is probably the best dentist in the world, or at least, the best dentist that I have ever been to. Her warm and friendly personality actually makes going to the dentist enjoyable. She is the first dentist that presented me with a clear treatment plan that she prioritized based on my budget. I highly recommend!
About Hygienist: The hygienists at Park Slope Dentistry are also great. Cleanings with my old dentist were usually uncomfortable if not painful. Here they have fancy machines that make cleanings fast and mostly painless.

Came to See Dr Plotnick last year for two teeth that were hurting me-I felt very taken care of, and now my teeth feel great. This year my 8 year old daughter fell and broke her new front tooth :(
I knew exactly what to do, I got an appointment right away with Dr Plotnick and my daughter's tooth was like new!
