Because of the poor rating, Dr. Timko was a second opinion for me. I was scheduled to have surgery on my tooth by a 4 star rated periodontist who spent 5 mins. with me and scheduled surgery. I decided to go to Dr. Timko and there was no comparison! Dr Timko sat and thoroughly explained why I would be waisting my money ($800.) to have him do the surgery. He referred me to a endodontist. My dentist agreed.

Although his work was professional, Dr. Timko has poor bedside manners. He was condescending toward his assistant (witnessed on more than one visit). I perceive that they were eager to have me as a patient more as a source of income rather than genuine care or concern. I don't intend to ever go back and do not recommend him.

Our experience with Dr. Timko was less than desirable. I will never return to his office. He was arrogant and condescending and his rapport with and examination of my child, the patient, was horrible. His recommendation for treatment was outrageous. He insisted she needed over $10,000 of services. I've since taken my child to another periodontist for a second opinion. There she was treated in a thoughtful and caring manner. I was told she needed $400 worth of services. When I told them Dr. Timko's recommendation, they said it was outrageous and completely unnecessary. If you want to be treated unkindly and overcharged, this is the place for you. If not, go somewhere else.
