Dr. Evinger has taken care of my family for years. One of my sons has an allergy, and his staff always makes sure they have the right stuff. My nephew was visiting from out of state and when he had some dental pain, Dr. Evinger gave up his lunch to take care of it. My nephew told his mother that he would rather go to Dr. Evinger than see his own dentist because the shots didn't hurt. When my sons were young, Dr. Evinger and his staff that did things that made it fun for them to go to the dentist.

I can't rave enough about Dr. Evinger and his staff. He is THE dentist to go to if you suffer from any kind of dental phobia/anxiety. I've been going to him for 8 years, but today when my 28-year old daughter experienced a dental emergency, I strongly encouraged her to see him. She was able to get in immediately and he put her at ease. (She hadn't been to a dentist in years due to major anxiety regarding dentists.) She said she had no idea dentists like him existed. He's THAT good: knowledgeable, skillful, and possesses a winning personality! He even called her at home tonight to make sure she was okay. Dr. Evinger is The Best!
About Hygienist: C. J. is an amazing dental hygienist. I actually look forward to my cleanings with her! Not only is she very knowledgeable and always going the extra mile, but she's fun too!

My review of Dr. Mark Evinger and his Staff are very Professional and come across very Knowledgeable. Even from the very first visits he and his staff have explained the procedures up front and what to expect in the future. They don't give you a long lecture on how to take care of your month and they seem very concerned when you ask questions to them regarding your mouth. I would Highly reccommend them to anyone in the San Diego area. I happen to live in La Jolla and work in Alpine. They are very accommodating when trying to make an appointment for you that works with your schedule.
About Hygienist: Very pleasant and helpful along with all his staff.

Hadn't been to a dentist in 22+ years. I had several fillings and a root canal done and the discomfort was minimal. Filled my wisdom teeth instead of extracting them. Mark wants you to keep your own teeth as long as possible, rather than just running up the bill.
Everyone in the office is curteous and professional and they don't double-book...if your appointment is at 3:00, you go in at 3:00, not whenever they get to you like many offices.
I was the guinea pig...now my whole family, including my mom goes there. I could not be happier with Dr. Evingers practice.
