Read Reviews for Dr. Suresh Iyengar
Worst dental experience ever! Went in for a routine cleaning and left with two teeth fused together. Had to eventually do a root canal to correct the problem. The fused teeth were verified by another dentist who was very confused why teeth were fused during a simple routine tooth cleaning exam. RUN, don't walk do not pass go or collect $200.

Dr. Iyengar is a good dentist. I've been seeing him for about 3 years now and I will continue to see him. I've had 2 root canals done, which went without any problem. His price was very reasonable and even though he doesn't use the latest technological fads (lasers and such) he knows what he's doing. He doesn't recommend unnecessary procedures, uses finesse not force. He explains every procedure, takes time to show you what he's doing and why.
His front desk woman Tina is nice and helpful. Insurance claims never a problem.
Only reason I'm not giving him 4 stars is my wisdom tooth extraction. He was extremely confident he could get it out easily, even though I'm 38 years old. Unfortunately, he couldn't finish the job, which meant I had to go to a dental surgeon mid operation! Dr. Smiler in Encino was able to get it out though and no real harm was done except to my wallet! At least Dr. Iyengar knew when to stop and he didn't do any damage to my jaw....

Seems to be a nice person but, in his work he's very reckless, and quality of work isn't that good. My last procedure with him, a filling, was a very horrifying experience.
At times overbooks himself way over as a result, the in-office waiting time is way too long, and sometimes lets unqulified personnel (hygienist) to perform dentist's procedures.
Front desk: receptionist often does not acknowledge or greet patients.
About Hygienist: Sloppy, not thorough

Dr. Iyengar has been our family dentist for many years and we are EXTREMELY pleased. The Doctor is knowledgeable, very pleasant, reasonble prices, efficient, and an all around super nice man.
He is sympathetic and does not run up the bill. He has many very pleased patients, as per our discussions with some other patients in his waiting room. We would not ever change dentists. In fact, we moved away from his area and now drive a long ways to continue with him as our family dentist.

He told me I needed 2 fillings on the upper left and one on the bottom. I went to get the bottom one done, then he told me I needed three on the top. I went to get one on the top, and first he said I have one more, then he said I was done. All of this on top of the fact that he charged me $50 more than usual and tried to tell me that this new filling was a complicated one, because he had to drill out a previous filling!!
