Read Reviews for Dr. R Griffith
I have had good experiences at Dr. Griffith's office regarding treatment. The front office staff hasn't always seemed the brightest or nicest, but the dentists and assistants are very good. The only other thing I don't really like, is something that seems to be a fairly common thing among dentists. That is the "upsell" on teeth whitening, electric toothbrushes and things like that.

I would recommend Dr. R. Peter Griffith.
I went in as an emergency. On a weekend in 2005, I broke a tooth (2nd bicuspid), in half, actually more than half of it disintegrated, while I was visiting family in CA. My nephew recommended either Dr Peter Griffith or his partner, Dr Paul Griffith. I called on Monday and Dr Peter Griffith saw me the next day. He said he could fix my tooth with a crown (I feared it would be much worse, I have had a root canal in the past for a crown on another tooth). I found him to be extremely pleasant, gentle (hardly any pain), careful, very knowledgeable (I had a ton of questions since I had searched the web about my broken tooth) and capable. I would definitely recommend him. I am not sure how his cost compares to other Bay area dentists. From my East Coast experiences I found it to be about average to a little high. Dr. Griffith has a website at drgriffith.com.

My parents saw Dr Griffith senior forty years ago and I grew up seeing Dr Peter Griffith. Staff has always been nice and made me feel like they really cared about me. A few years ago I had Dr Peter do some veneers for me a they look great! I have moved to the northbay now, but it is worth the hour drive back every six months to see them.
