Read Reviews for Dr. Arthur Yu
It wasn't until I had to see another dentist because I lost a filling that I decided to change from Dr Yu to my current dentist. Dr Yu has been a good dentist, but he's not so good anymore. I had a filling redone by Dr Yu a few years back, and from the time it was put in it has never felt right. My new filling that I recently had done from my new dentist is amazing! I'm going to have the filling that doesn't feel right redone. In thinking, it makes sense to change to a new dentist because Dr Yu isn't going to work forever. Office staff are nice with the exception of the new receptionist who is mean. Would I recommend Dr Yu? Only temporarily.

Dr. Yu has been my dentist for at least 10 years. I've observed that he picks his staff very carefully - skilled and patient oriented.
When working, he allows time to insure that the pain-numbing medicine is in place. His work on my teeth, at least in my case, is first class.
He has been pretty good in telling me what he perceives my dental problems to be and what I could expect in the coming years.
He's a keeper.

I've been a patient of Dr. Yu's since 1980 and have never been disappointed with the dental treatment I've received from Dr. Yu.
The treatment I've had has varied over the years from simple 6 month check-ups to replacement of fillings. The staff is very friendly and personable. You don't feel like a patient when you come into this office, you feel more like a family member.
Additionally, Dr. Yu can anesthetize (numb) the area he is working in virtually pain free. He doesn't do the hold your cheek with his hand and shake it while he's injecting the numbing solution; instead, he numbs the surface with a gel, he lets that take effect, then he injects a tiny bit of numbing solution into the gum area and he waits for that to numb the area BEFORE he injects the rest. You don't feel anything. Can your dentist do that?
Overall, he's a very gentle dentist who caters to his patients. I would never see another dentist unless s/he treated his/her patients just like Dr. Yu does.
