I was treated this morning by Dr. Fat for a root canal. I was somewhat apprehensive at first, because I've had several root canals in my lifetime; none too pleasant, some particularly horrible. I feel singularly impressed with the service that I received from Dr. Fat and his staff. Dr. Fat has an excellent "chairside manner"; he has a calm and reassuring tone of voice, and he seems to instinctively know just how much of the procedure to explain to his patient. I experienced only the very slightest discomfort at one point in the procedure, and Dr. Fat quickly administered more pain medication. He took so much more time explaining my treatment and aftercare than most dentists I've seen in my 54 years, and he and his staff were so obviously capable, that I have no hesitation in offerring my highest recommedation.

Dr. Fat is one of the most amazing health care professionals with whom I have come in contact in years! He spent extra time with me in a consultation, giving me thorough and complete information. His "mini -lectures" on physiology, biochemistry and psychology helped me understand my diagnosis and plan for treatment in a way that I truly understood.
Dr. Fat has a fine mind, is well trained and is an extraordinary communicator. This, combined, helped to lessen my anxiety ~ I felt armed with information regarding the choices presented to me for a treatment plan.
